Birds at Corn Creek

Spring migration is beginning & we're waiting for our spring buddies to show up.
However here is a partial list of birds at Corn Creek.

Robins, Phainopeplas, Great Blue Heron, Yellow rumped warblers, Townsend's Solitaire, Marsh wren, Bewick's wren, Spotted towhee, Northern Flicker, Juncos, White crowned sparrows, Lincoln sparrow, Savannah sparrow, Crissal Thrasher, Sage Thrasher. Ruby crowned kinglet- just to name a few.

Meetings

Monthly Board meetings of the Friends group are open to all members. The meetings takes place at 6:30pm the first Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted.) Currently, meetings are held at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension (UNCE) at 8050 Paradise Road, in Las Vegas, NV. A conference call phone line and a link to the document package is available to members who are not able to physically attend. For more information contact harry_konwin@fws.gov 702-515-5494. We'd like to thank the Red Rocks Canyon Interpretive Association (RRCIA) for hosting our past meetings.
